Ooooh yea!! I remember reading it ages ago, it's so interesting to see what the creator is thinking and especially to hear them try to describe their personal motivations, and the atmosphere of games at the time - even now, 20 years later
ZUN seeing AI stuff and deciding "Fuck it, I'll ascend beyond the AI" is such a power move and I feel like this is a mood we all should have
I really ought to take more inspiration from how ZUN and ONE have created such popular works on the back of mediocre drawing ability
