I wrote and directed WE KNOW THE DEVIL and HEAVEN WILL BE MINE. I also wrote for NEON WHITE and I currently work at game company doing game things.
And the worst part of the new player experience is being forced to take your awful starter deck into a real human match...each game so far the opponent has deliberately dragged the game out well past the point they had lethal. Pretty dang rude! They want me to do this FIVE times?
I also despise tinkerbell clippy.
it's even more of a fucked up learning experience that you sometimes actually DO win in those with the starter deck
I've one 1/3 so far, and the win was very predictable because some of these starter decks are MUCH more practical than others. Like, I know what tools a successful deck has and if I have answers to my opponent pretty quickly...dragging it out to own the day 1 player is similarly predictable trolling because I guess how else are they supposed to enjoy the experience either.
I just installed this and I hate hate hate how, after finally just skipping the tutorial, I have to play challenges in order to unlock a deck?? Just let me play the game
