no fic writing today, didn't feel up to it with all the stress + tiredness I had today. same with reading.
I didn't mention this yesterday, but I got around to starting FGO's White Day event that day and it's fantastic. well, except for Nobukatsu talking about his sister all the time, but someone on Reddit had the great idea of turning it into a "drinking game", which I found hilarious. (I say this very loosely because the frequency of which the drink prompts happen will make you physically ill, even with only water. please, please don't try it literally.)
otherwise, though, I found it to be a nice mixup of characters we don't usually see interacting outaide of their constrained interaction categories. Arjuna Alter's the standout example of this, obviously. it's great to have him in a main role that also doesn't involve Karna too much. the plot's quite confusing to navigate near the beginning (maybe it's a cold opening?), but I'm just here for the character dialogue at this point.
oh, that and the Craft Essences. the One Night's Dream one in particular is gorgeous; even before this event started, I had (and still have) it as the aesthetic theme for my digital bullet journal. the voiced dialogue is a huuuge plus as well.
