got an old skill system rattling about.

basically:

You have tiers of skills, what they are exactly is defined by the player.

GENERAL
gives +10% chance to do things. your +2s, your 1 extra die in dicepools.

SPECIFIC
Gives you uhhhh... +40% chance to Do Things. convert to whatever. Something like... jobable. This skill could be someone's whole job, or like an intense hobby. Something you can be an expert in.

VERY SPECIFIC
That +80%. That +8 on d20, your Advantage/Accuracy/Boon 3. You got this, when This is Very Narrow and Practically Needs Finagling For Any Scenario Thats Not THE Scenario.

Then it's like

players pick uhhh... what

of things to define 'em, skillwise.

and yes i know this is just Fate Aspects and god damn it its just Fate Aspects.
