Invoking an Attribute allows you to overcome an Obstacle.
You can freely invoke one Attribute per adventure/quest/mission/sortie.
Any invocations afterwards demands sacrifice.

Within you lies a hunger unending. It craves for deeper sort of sustenance: The very life force of all living things, and it granted you the power to feed by a mere touch.
If it lives, and you can touch it, you can turn it into a dry, brittle husk.
SACRIFICE
You're on borrowed time wielding this power.
It feeds only itself, and you get scraps on a good day.
Paladin
As former palace knight, you half remember your training in swordplay, your lessons in etiquette, and the verses of your faith.
Above all, your strength and endurance from training didn't leave you...
SACRIFICE
Ignoring the spirit has its costs, and it will not hesitate to lash out at you for depriving it.

Powers
Consuming Cleave
White-knuckling your blade, you shroud in a devouring aether. You then freely Basic Attack, dealing +2w and cleave both sides.
Withering Wave
Scrape the earth to unleash a crawling wave of devouring aether at a target in range 6. That target's Move is reduced to 1, and the next strike against them deals +3w.
APPETIZER
Part your lips and breath deep that which binds and holds life.
All in a Cone 2 area take 2w, and everyone hit grants you +1 Move for this turn.
If you hit 2+ targets, also gain a free Basic Attack.
FEAST
From your mouth comes a primordial storm of raging aether. For the scene, the first time something enters and exists a Proxy 1 area this turn takes 2w. You Heal for the same amount.
