Assumptions

Techniques
Honkers can use Techniques to gain an edge before combat.

The whole party shares a pool of Technique points equal to their size. These are restored at a Stellar Beacon.

Targeting
Your adversaries will decide their Target based on their Priority.

A simple enemy may Prioritize Closest, which means they will strike the closest target to them.

If a Honker is Deprioritized, they can only be targeted if they're the only valid target in range.

Superiority of Reach
The simple axiom for all forms of combat is such: reach is superior.
Talent

  • If Dan Heng is the target of an ally's ability, his next ability will deal +1 DMG.
  • When you deal damage to an full HP enemy, deal +3 DMG.
  • When you're Blooded, enemies Deprioritize you.
  • After using an ability, move up to your speed.

Cloudlancer Art: North Wind
A simple, prying thrust of the spear allows for a swift repositioning.
Range: 1 | DMG: 3 | Break: 1 | Charge: 3
Effect

Deal +1 DMG to Slowed enemies.

Cloudlancer Art: Torrent
A flurry of lance thrusts and a follow up pommel bash leaves a foe dazed
Range: 1-2 | DMG: 8 | Break: 2 | Charge: 4
Effect
Also set an enemy's Speed to 1.

Ethereal Dream
With tiger-like swiftness, lunge and pierce a foe with a heartseeking stab.
Range: 1 | DMG: 14 | Break: 3 | Charge: 1
Cost: 10
Effect
Move up to 2 before using.
If the enemy is Slowed, deal +4 DMG.

Splitting Spearhead
You slam your lance's butt on the ground and assume your ceremonial Cloudlancer stance.
Technique
Deal +1 Harm for the next combat.
