i'm honestly really enjoying using cohost so far, much better than when i tried being here the first time - not just because of the enviroment being really nice and friendly, but the website in general is a nice change of pace from other social media where too often it becomes a numbers game and its too easy to get stuck in a worried mindset about whether people even see what you post because of ~ algorithms ~, let alone like it. over here all the numbers are hidden away either purposefully or optionally and it's kind of theraputic in a way and allows me to stop worrying so much about what i post, i can just post whatever and some people will like it sometimes and it's good
i think once the speed of the website improves a bit (i know the staff are struggling with load atm i wish them all the luck with keeping up) i'll probably set up shop here full time with my private accounts and stuff. im already writing down more long blog post ideas i have [current wandering topics include such delights as nightcore, some old computer books and this one really, REALLY baffling movie i own]
