Anonymous Guest asked:

do you play minecraft (I want to play minecraft with you specifically)

So this is rather convenient actually! Though I’m quite curious why this particular cat/dog hybrid critter? =P

Story time: I was at university and a friend breathlessly told me about this game where you build things with blocks, and it’s in some kind of super early alpha and there’s janky multiplayer that doesn’t save your inventory when you log out, and oh yeah also there’s a free version on the website.

I go home from class and decide to check it out before I get started on my homework. I pulled up the free version of Minecraft, explored the chunk, started building a little house, maybe bridge a few of these canyons, add some more buildings and expand the main house and ooh I could make a paved path that connects and holy shit, two hours have passed.

So I was pretty sure I would like the game and bought it in super early access (I’m not sure “early access” was a term yet) so I could play it later. And then uhhhhhhh I didn’t do any of my homework that night. >.>;;;

I played quite a lot for a few years, and I think I stopped playing it around when they added horses (maybe? It’s fuzzy) because I moved and didn’t set up my computer for like two weeks and lost momentum. It’s a real shame, I had a world that I had over many months solo built large, distant structures and connecting elevated stone roads and things like that, minecarts everywhere inside structures, a lot of spots specifically built so I could just turn off the UI and relax, and with none of the materials farmed except the trees. I’m certain I don’t have the attention span for THAT any longer, but.

Yeah we should do that sometime.
