shopping for light bulbs, it's so funny to see equivalent wattage used as an indicator of brightness bc i haven't bought an incandescent bulb in 20 years. nobody knows what the fuck a lumen is but tell me how it compares to a funky wire zapped with 100 watts and i will rotate it full 3D in my mind palace

Even more fun when you're shopping for LEDs that don't screw into an edison socket and half the vendors still do the same goddamn thing, so you have to do a bunch of extra research to decrypt which numbers are in actual wattage and which are in Fantasy Watts
