There's discourse going around Twitter about straight people using the word partner, and I feel no need to relitigate my belief that everyone should have access to the word. Rather, I would like to simply point and laugh at any gay person who is so boring that they need the word partner to differentiate themself from the straights. Like honey I don't even need to date anyone to make conservatives hate me. Step up your god damn game.
at this point i think maybe everyone should just stop using the word queerbaiting cuz i think people have stretched the concept so far that it's no longer recoverable as a useful term. the original narrow meaning related to media corporations implying gay content that doesn't exist to get money from the gays TM is still a relevant concept but maybe just come up with a new word for that idk
