i feel so lucky to be in a job now where i like my whole team (three of us plus the bossman lol), the folks most able to make my job good or bad seem to love me, i’m doing good work that matters, i’m being paid decently, i have great autonomy, my AuDHD is being put to good use and is an asset… and less than two weeks in i’m now good enough at it that i’m innovating our processes!
the head nurse of the OR department where i spend much of my time likes me a lot and is very supportive of me being visibly trans at work, everyone uses the name josie for me, and nobody has been even a little bit shitty about it. ^^!!!
i don’t know that i’ve ever had such a successful introduction to a new job. and my boss is ADHD as fuck in a very similar way to me AND he’s my age so we get along entirely too well! i get to swear like a sailor and be a goober and it all is just accepted!!
so yeah i’m enjoying it, and that’s why i have been quiet for a bit here :3!
