Honestly for me it was because I didn't know what that meant

to sum this up really clearly.
user-tracking cookies provided the data that twittler used to steal the election.
this caused a lot of users to turn off user-tracking cookies.
google responded by adding the user-tracking cookies in at a lower level that you can't turn off without hacking shit.
use firefox.
install multi-account containers
create a new container for each site you log into
it's your civic duty.
