I haven't seen this movie period, and I'm worried this is setting up for an ending where actually, complete unwanted obedience to people you know are out to exploit you is awesome.
I have read the Wikipedia synopsis, and am delighted to learn the protagonist solves this problem with something she saw in Code Geass.
