I remember when I was younger my uncle mentioning how he was getting frustrated because he felt like with his smart phone, people expected him to be available pretty much whenever. And as a kid I didn't really get it, but as an adult I really feel it. It feels harder to maintain a good work/life balance when you can be reachable at any moment basically. I feel I personally can do a good job with it, but it's just something you have to almost constantly fight against it feels.
Honestly there's been a couple of times I've thought about just going back to a basic flip phone or something because there are some days I just don't like how my phone makes me feel.
yes! and setting boundaries is so hard. i'd definitely love to go back to a flip phone with maybe a standalone mp3 player for music...
