i want plex to let you share playlists, and also create curated playlists/collections to surface in other ppl's feeds so that you can have thematic stuff

Plex does have a way to share playlists from your library. Unsure how well it looks, it seems all items get pushed to a 'shared' source when you do it: https://support.plex.tv/articles/shared-media/
testing this, altho i can see right away it doesn't let you share smart playlists, which is already ugh. im guessing this is going to be a bit too arcane for most of the ppl i'd want to share playlists with, but its something at least!
(also is it me or is plex REALLY de-emphasizing playlists in their UI?? its so hard to find them now)
