whaaa i had no idea!! now i gotta track down that book, that was MY edition as a teen
The three paintings are by Mark Zug, my absolute favorite Shadowrun artist. The black and white drawings are by Steve Prescott and Larry Macdougall, respectively.
2e and 3e were the highpoints of Shadowrun's aesthetic.
