i feel like sometimes ppl don’t know how to get people interested in ham radio, and i’m here to tell you: saying that you can bounce messages off the moon is a pretty sure winner in my experience

I used to just talk about how fun Field Day is but yours is way cooler
It was always a big deal in my local clubs - we'd turn the whole thing into a big camping event and everything
that’s part of the problem, im not in any local clubs— the big one i know of here isn’t doing in person stuff and it’s hard for me to participate if everything is online, ironically lol
