palworld is this year's hogwarts legacy in that we are once again starting the year with a streisand effect game and i guess i'd rather it be ai-gen garbage than terf shit but either way it's definitely a thing i'm already tired of experiencing

I despise it, can't wait for people to force feed it into all of the award shows they can because despite it being dog shit ai nonsense they take it as the first big step towards showing GF and Nintendo what they should be doing with pokemon or whatever bs reasoning they can think of to not care about it.
In fairness, there's no proof it's AI generated other than the CEO used AI to make fake pokemon one time a while ago. I have no horse in this race, I don't care about the game, but I did some research after seeing this post and figured I'd share my findings!
it's the kind of thing you can't just find direct proof bar a leak/slip up by company employees but with how pro-AI the CEO is plus many of the designs' eery similarities to pokemon ones, I really would not discount it being used
yeah, I will not be at all surprised if they did use it, I just like to make sure I've got evidence to back up any claims I make about stuff - I've been burned before by saying like "oh company does x thing" and then it not be true, you know?
it's been disheartening to say the least when we have so many other monster collecting competitors and this one is barely that, it's just ark but with dollar bin pokemon designs
