Having batteries jumbled up like that can be a fire hazard, and if one leaks it can get all over the others and potentially spoil them.
i think you should mix the batteries and the dice and maybe paint the containers. that way every time you reach for a d6 you get to make the exciting gamble of pulling out a regular die (boring, useless) or a leaking battery (thrilling, unusual, the spice of life)
