the idea that streaming services and online retailers have implanted in everyone that 'libraries' and 'discoverability' need to go hand in hand, without any sort of human (ie, a librarian, curator, critic) intervention is pernicious and detrimental to the projects which seek to break away from and yet mimic these services.
