the thing that always strikes me, reading about past protests and demonstrations that we think of as flashpoints, is that big demonstrations, something with lots of people, is almost worse than useless. cops are very prepared for that. but lots of small demonstrations, big enough to warrant some sort of police presence, spread out over a large area, close together?
