sorry its extremely minor and probably not worth complaining about, and given that it apparently came out the year before she finally explicitly came out and announced she was transphobic i guess i'll give it a pass but i wish this wildly popular young adult gay comic didn't have harry potter references in it!! that's just life as a trans person now tho ig
to be clear its literally two throwaway lines and one of the side characters introduced is a trans girl, so its not like i think this should steer people away from it if you're interested. (also im reading the comic and not watching the show, which i assume [hope] just leaves it out entirely)
its just kind of one of those things that even when its minor makes me wince for a minute. at least i can hope that most people who are worth paying attention to have got the message by now!!!
