i’m not really a backpack person (crossbody messenger bag life) but i want one because they’re very useful for travel, a thing i enjoy doing. my problem is that nothing i can easily find meets my strict criteria, which are:

• looks cute
• good for travel
• makes me feel like a cool apocalyptic girl roaming the wastes

also acceptable is feeling like a cool fantasy protagonist

If I'd chosen, it would be whenever a person could sit in a grove doing dialectics as an acolyte of the religion of Don Quixote, a religion which has only two commandments:
