Anyway I got these yesterday and I used them overnight and all day today and I can recommend for the price so far.
7.5 hours of ANC + full charge with the case was not an exaggeration (altho varies depending on how loud u play music) & the case is really small.

ANC probably could be a bit more powerful & it's hard for me to compare bc this is the first ANC headphones I've owned... The passthrough mode is impressive / sounds hyperreal

With the app it can do location/activity based ANC mode switching including different levels of passthrough

Only real negatives so far are:
- One button on each bud is impractical for volume control
- The button is easy to press if you sleep on your side
Sony seems to be really doing a good job with low-ish cost high value wireless buds, these are about $120 but my other recommendation is the neckband-ish style WI-c100 which are literally $25 and have 25 hour playback battery life in a thing you can just wear around, no need to use a case or whatever.
Now I just want them to put this ANC in the wi-c100 form factor
