extremely struggling with "find a new place to live by end of next month" because everywhere on our list either doesn't exist because property management companies didn't bother to update their listings anywhere and/or requires an application including lots of sensitive info like my SSN and a scan of my passport before we can even request a tour, and then requires proof of 3x rent monthly income before we can even apply (I make over 2x but not 3x everything on our list)
this is so impossible and I don't know what to do
I am on email number 17 going back and forth with the only person who has responded to any of my requests trying to schedule a tour. The current situation is that after sending my income and info about my friends' income who is a co-applicant, they want my parents (who are on vacation and completely away from internet) to make an account in their system as co-signers. All so I can request a tour and decide if we maybe like the place or not. This is fucking insane. Do you want my money or not
I have literally been working on this all day just trying to schedule a tour with one place. The other places I contacted are all under the same property management company who is sending me an automated email saying to call a number. When I call the number I get a message saying the person is on vacation and they'll return my call 6/5 (2 days ago). I left a message and got nothing
ok well I finally got one tour scheduled and it's not the one that wanted my SSN drivers license passport two pay slips W-2 boss' phone number boss' email friends' passport friends' two previous pay slips parents contact information parents income information
