I said all that shit and it could probably have come down to:
- There's a subtlety to color and exposure that you might want for artistic photography which camera makers understand really well but which phones destroy by trying to capture high detail + dynamic range and realistic color in all situations; AND
- Now that I've held a camera that feels as solid as a rock, I'm reminded of how much I want all the tech I use to be as durable as my body if not more and to only need to rest when I do.
