yeah, i broadly do not like how heavily they seem to be leaning on llm AI features and how much of their development time is going into these features
i think the thing that keeps me amenable to giving them a try is that you can at least still opt out of it and turn the page summary/quick answer garbage off and the actual results seem to be consistent even without it
(although obviously there's not much you can do about pages in the results themselves containing garbage...)
Yeah And Also like for the most part by default it doesn't present answers like that, while as google and bing seem to almost always try to present an answer... I like how they have the Quick Answer button where you can get it to try to an answer - making that an intentional choice you have to make feels better to me. Generally I don't feel like I need the AI stuff most of the time, so I don't like that a lot of dev time is focused on it - but so far I'm more ok with their approach than others.
