iMessage has started putting a banner on my mom's screen saying that >I< have notifications muted whenever she messages me, no matter what...
I've tried fucking everything, I fully deleted my Personal focus, turned the mute switch off, removed iMessage's access to Focus, turned off "share focus status" in Focus settings
Does anyone have literally any idea why this is happening, I just want my mom to stop freaking out that I'm ignoring her
does this happen to anyone else besides your mom? If this happens other folks should see it when they send you messages. Fwiw I had a similar thing happen with a friend and it ended up fixing itself so unfortunately i dont have a better solution 🙃
Tom said turn focus syncing back on, switch focus, then turn it back off, and that seems to maybe have fixed it for us but not my mom, who fucken knows 😖
Yeah sometimes it just Gets Stuck. Short of telling your mom to reboot her phone idk what to suggest :/ (and maybe tell her to chill about this showing up but you know fjdjdek)
