It seriously just did nothing to prevent me from sending "touc sensitive" but did change "I freaked it" to "I freaked it out" (like, adding an entire word) after I hit send, with 0 preview??
Honestly considering turning it off fully and seeing how that goes

i have it underline spelling mistakes (which, given the limited dictionary it works from, i just end up ignoring its suggestions much of the time) but i turned off the actual automatic corrections, and this has been a good decision.
i got so irritated at autocarrot doing the "yeah we replaced something two words back that you weren't looking at because you're still typing" thing that yeah i just turned it off
make a lot more typos now but at least i mostly say what i mean
i was really excited when they said they were finally fixing autocorrect with ios17 but somehow they managed to make it worse
