Finally did the thing of configuring Remote Desktop so I can control my computer from 3 feet away from my computer so I can work on blender without getting out of warm comfy bed. It's kind of bad but also cool that it works at all now I guess. Last time I tried this you couldn't click and drag. And now you can click and drag but not middle click and drag. One thing at a time

Yeah.... I got my windows key mysteriously from a friend, so I just have it... but I seriously considered upgrading before
IMHO it's not normal-people user friendly at all, so it makes sense that this is only in pro. But I wish it WAS easy to use without being smart at computer bc like this is kinda nice and shouldnt have been this hard to figure out. I could see a more user friendly version of this feature being popular
I mean the more user friendly version is "click here to connect to a Windows desktop in Azure", which they're also doing now
but yeah, i am very :effort: at this point to windows so i have no idea what the best VNC app is to do this without paying and or hoping things fall off the back of a truck
"can't middle click and drag" feels like a bit of a dealbreaker for blender :S
I am becoming such good friends with the doohickey or whatever it's called
