I would love if someone with a better understanding of cameras could explain what happened here. I associate that lavender colour most strongly with shooting without a lens or light leak. That grid pattern is also in the raw so I am assuming it's related to the actual pattern of the sensor (and that the few stray white dots are dust). What actually happened here, though? The sun was setting and was below the shot, is this some weird chance thing where especially bright light was hitting let's say the edge of the aperture at some weird angle to cause refraction onto the sensor that was most visible in a dark spot of the photo? Is that even a reasonable guess?
