My fursona in a traditional Nahua (Pipil) outfit. The Nahua (or Pipil) are an indigenous group of Mesoamerican people inhabiting what is now western and central El Salvador, of whom I am partly a descendant.
I originally meant for this line art to form the base of a reference sheet. Around that time I got the idea of showing my fursona in a dress, so I attempted to draw my fursona in a traditional Nahua (Pipil) outfit. Nahua skirts are often very finely patterned so cut me some slack.
Now over a year since then I’ve decided to shelve that whole first attempt for a fresh start with better knowledge, better references, and thinner lines. I feel dumb for even sharing this but I figured since I made the effort, I might as well share it.
