Ok well. hes technically in Unity w/ the half ass ms paint test textures but there are a few things fucked up. specifically
EDIT: re exporting fbx and re-importing to unity fixed both of the problems I thought I had on the second try? must have done something wrong the first time

Why the fuck are just the legs of the shorts and just the triangle part of the bandana inside out with backface off (? I assume?) - they seem to be there but see-through from most angles / rendering behind the body / something? [note: I tried both "recalculate outside" and "flip" for normals in Blender and then re exporting the fbx and re-importing in unity...]

Why the fuck are the collar and tailbag showing up - those are supposed to be hidden (read: scaled down to imperceptible size) at the basis shape key - and other things which are supposed to be hidden that way at basis are, so why are those two things visible?
I unno how to do anything in Unity so I'm going to consider this enough progress for tonight even tho I did almost nothing and maybe look at it again tomorrow although I also have more important things to do tomorrow
