Ok well. hes technically in Unity w/ the half ass ms paint test textures but there are a few things fucked up. specifically
EDIT: re exporting fbx and re-importing to unity fixed both of the problems I thought I had on the second try? must have done something wrong the first time


Problems I thought I had but I don;t

  1. Why the fuck are just the legs of the shorts and just the triangle part of the bandana inside out with backface off (? I assume?) - they seem to be there but see-through from most angles / rendering behind the body / something? [note: I tried both "recalculate outside" and "flip" for normals in Blender and then re exporting the fbx and re-importing in unity...]

  2. Why the fuck are the collar and tailbag showing up - those are supposed to be hidden (read: scaled down to imperceptible size) at the basis shape key - and other things which are supposed to be hidden that way at basis are, so why are those two things visible?

I unno how to do anything in Unity so I'm going to consider this enough progress for tonight even tho I did almost nothing and maybe look at it again tomorrow although I also have more important things to do tomorrow
