- I made the shirt graphics slightly shiny to look more printed on at toms suggestion after sort of accidentally doing that . . .
- Finished figuring out materials/shader stuff using Poiyomi for the first time now . . .
- Confirmed I can get texture memory under 40mb so still on track to hit Excellent performance rating for no reason ;3c
Now that I can actually see what he looks like in-game it's really exciting to compare with the current version bc holy shit dfjsklh current version looks so bad in comparison*, but the difference is still really subtle so basically it's coming out perfect for my goal...
That said there's still a lot of stuff left that I need to Learn and Figure Out...
The list so far:
- Make sure I can scale him down to get below the Excellent perf rank bounds limit even with stupid huge antlers & wings without messing anything up [this should be easy but I don't remember the right way]
- Make ALL the animations or whatever so I can actually show/hide all the accessories and stuff I made
- Learn how to use VRCFury to put that stuff in radial menus
- Make animations and do the stuff to map expressions to hand gestures [I don't remember how to do this at all but I'm just going to copy what I did for the current version]
- Figure out how to make idle animations/poses for the tail
- Do physbones for ears and tail but make it Less Wobbly now bc it was too much before
That's It I Guess but that kinda feels like a lot...
*[ignore the weird posture especially with the shoulders/arms, I haven't done any of the like bone rotation limits or whatever to make the desktop idle pose look better / make the fingers move better etc]
