I love all the shots you submitted this week, but this one takes the cake! What lens are you using? How are you cropping these to feel like cinematic slides? I love it.
I’ve used a ttartisians f0.95 50mm in M mount, at around f1.4. And I set some gridlines in my viewfinder to estimate what a 2.70:1 crop would look like and just did that in lightroom. This ratio was inspired by the hasselblad x-pan (which is sadly a bit too expensive for my taste)
Yeah nice, I definitely get that X-Pan vibe, so great to hear that was the inspiration.
I had a TT Artisans 50mm f1.0 years ago for my M6 which I actually loved. I sold it and grabbed a Voigtlander Nokton, but a small part of me always regretted ditching the Artisans. Despite the "Chinese garbage" rhetoric from most photographer communities out there, I actually really like the rendering of their lenses, and think that they are INCREDIBLE value for money!
