Logitech Zone Vibe 125 turned out to be pretty good, which is really surprising bc on paper they seemed basically the same as the Logitech G 435 headphones but Not for Mobile Gamers.......
The key differences are:

  1. They fit better bc the ear cups can move a little more and the headband is a little stiffer
  2. They do a magic thing where instead of making you manually switch between bluetooth and the included dongle, they play audio from both at the same time, including sending a Pause input to one device when the other plays something.....
  3. Also they have prerecorded voice lines for things like battery level, connection/mute status instead of making you remember which pitch of a notification sound means bluetooth mode is on fsdjkl

This amounts to the best multi device experience I've ever had with wireless headphones... while still being stubborn and using windows & refusing to consider airpods

The bluetooth part of the equation still sux... (complain) You still have to do Bullshit like manually disconnecting from the previously connected device before you can connect to another one if you want to switch bluetooth devices (e.g. if my iPad is in my room and I'm in the living room and I want to connect to my phone, I have to walk back to my room, disconnect the headphones from my iPad, then connect them to my phone, bc they won't let the phone try to connect to them if the iPad already is)

The mic still is not amazing... (complain)Zone Vibe 125 has a boom mic which the G435 lacked, making it exactly the combination of the G535 (boom mic but no bluetooth) and G435 (no boom mic but bluetooth) but it's positioned weirdly far away and while it does some smart stuff with muting and unmuting (Teams web app knows when it's muted somehow which seems amazing??? unfortunately it doesn't unmute teams when you unmute the mic so the mute switch is useless for walking away from the computer and still being able to mute/unmute bc you unmute your mic on the headphones and the Web App stays muted) I wouldn't bother using it

All in all: I still think these are a bit overpriced but for $50 open box ebay deal the Zone Vibe 125 feels really good while the seemingly nearly feature identical on paper G435's I was using before were kinda disappointing for $35 ebay deal (they're currently officially on sale for $30, down from $80, which I think says something)
