If you think this site sucks and is destined to fail, email support about deleting your main page and go make an account somewhere else. The rest of us are trying to enjoy ourselves here, and it’s really annoying seeing Negative Nancys every 5 posts in the meta tag. It’s been like that the ENTIRE month I have been here. It became more like every 3 posts on the 11th after the initial financial update.
Like. I need you guys to understand that one of the first posts I saw on this site was a post bitching about how staff sucks because they let people decide for themselves what to content warn for if it’s not one of the required CW tags. Apparently there was some suicidal meme going around here a few months ago and a little group of users got pissed off that staff wasn’t forcing them to put their jokes behind content warnings. Cause you can mute pages and never see their posts again even if someone you follow rebugs them! You can silence individual posts and never see them again! Why is it on staff to curate your mental well-being for you? They can’t predict what every new user’s triggers are and they aren’t going to make an ever-changing masterlist of community triggers part of the required CWs because that’s ridiculous and no one would be able to keep up with knowing what to CW. (Oh! And the “staff is responsible for keeping your mental health good on this site”?That’s part of what KOSA is trying to make every social media site do, and it’s going to force them to collect even more data about you. The ASSC doesn’t want to collect any data on us, don’t complain that you want them to!)
