talking to a girl in middle school about gender and misogyny will always be 10x more enlightening to talking to an entire group of terfs
my sister and i went out yesterday and we were talking about her gym class and the Annoying Boys(tm) and laughing about stupid middle schooler things and she goes "no our teacher is the worst. he always splits us up into girls vs boys and gives us the easy boring stuff. like, no one can believe the girls want to do sports or that we're actually good. noo, we're all just boring girls who care about makeup and hair and we NEVER want to play soccer! and they never let us play with the boys because, yk, god forbid girls are good at sports."
added on something about how like. girls and boys are seen as polar opposites(thank you julia serano for the term oppositional sexism) and she goes "YEAH its like none of them can understand that we all like soccer or whatever
and think if the boys are good at it the girls must be bad."
like. this is middle school feminism. "why wont they let the girls be as good or better than the boys?" and yet so many modern 'feminists' are just straight up rebranding sexism as empowering
