I’m constantly fighting ridiculous amounts of brain fog and I have still managed to contact my reps, including Senator Mitch McConnell, multiple times over these bills. Obviously McConnell doesn’t give a shit what a liberal voter in his district thinks, he’s more focused on keeping his conservative base than actually listening to all his constituents, and I have still managed to contact him at each stage of this bill. His responses have all been canned “I’m not on the committee reviewing it right now” type of shit. It feels so pointless but I still do it because I can’t assume anyone else in my state is even trying.
People in blue states better be contacting their reps too. I’m pouring energy into a blackhole of conservatism. Y’all actually have a shot of changing minds that are still on the fence, you better be taking advantage.
