- Joyous Clown: actually beneficial to have around in most cases! makes sims around them happier, unless that sim has the "hates clowns" trait.
- Miserable Clown: your classic clown. every interaction a sim has with them that would normally make other sims happy instead makes them sadder and more depressed.
- Malicious Clown: a problem-causing, mayhem-loving clown. Breaks appliances, causes damage, and can even take actions it thinks will cause sims to die. trauma from its actions can cause sims to develop the "hates clowns" trait.
also brings back the clown catchers, as well as the fact that burning a clown's painting will also ignite the clown itself - and even uses the inventory system to give a new action to do so safely: simply take the painting into your inventory, interact with a fire (such as a fireplace or campfire), and choose to "burn clown painting".
clowns sometimes also toss clouds of confetti in the air. sims walking through these clouds of confetti can sometimes contract coulric fibrosis, also known as clown lung.
