the image looks terrible on my firefox but that makes it all the more vaporwave creep factor
yeah that's because you probably have fractional scaling enabled on your screen. i tried to fix it so it wouldn't look like that when fractional scaling is on but it didn't work :/
ooo! i have been using cohost at 80% because the layout at 100% does not agree with my brain and i did not feel like making a custom stylesheet for it since i not not have a good way to sync stylesheets across computers and browsers
at 100% it is crispy!
wait did it not show any content in the dialog for you? interesting. what browser do you use?
oh no it did, i just found the phrase "browser detected" hilarious bc it read to me as the opposite of "no browser detected"
that actually could happen, it's one of the 4 possible things it shows but idk if there's any browser that will trigger it
data uris don't seem to be supported yet & the image tag in svgs doesn't seem to be supported
Can I get an ELI5 on how this works, how does it detect the browser?
it's an SVG embedded as a background image. SVGs support more CSS, including some CSS features that let me detect what browser you use. They also have different limitations, for example they can't load anything from remote servers.
