sometimes you print a robot; sometimes you make that robot a monitor head; sometimes you also make the robot a clown, and sometimes,, you even knit that robot a tiny sweater!

The print is Easy 13 with a monitor head I threw together back for the original Lucky 13 and a slight alteration to accept the better Lucky 13 hands (ran two extra shoulder/hip sockets but divided off the tabs for the plates in the slicer). Green is PLA cuz my daughter wanted it to be green, but the joints are PETG, which is absolutely necessary--my Lucky 13 is completely in PLA and even with the superglue-to-stiffen-ball-joints trick is very floppy.

The sweater is a basic raglan; I'm not convinced it's the best shoulder for this robot but it's very easy to design formulaically and a lot of my issues with the fit may stem from a fabric thickness problem. One neat thing about this scale/fabric thickness, tho, is the sleeves, while fully stockinette, can't roll, as the tube's too narrow and provides enough structure to prevent it from flipping over itself.

If I do another sweater this scale I'll use much thinner needles (I belatedly discovered we have some 00s and maybe even 000s--my size card doesn't go that small so no idea for sure) and a less thick fingering... or maybe a cotton crochet thread one (may have to hold double tho) to improve drape and fit the scale better.
