doing one last batch of cross-stitch-pattern-sorting now! if anyone reading this feels the urge to help sort things into categories, assistance is more than welcome-- the site's here, all you do is look at a pattern and decide if it's: A. a photo of a real cross-stitch or a digital mockup of one, and B. if it looks like the design was AI-generated.

Thank you so much to everybody who helped sort patterns! I've got all the data I need, so I'm closing up the form-- I'll leave a version of it online, in case anyone comes along later and wants to mess with it, but I won't be monitoring the data from here on out.

Will crunch some numbers and report back! Thanks again!

So uh.. are there 4 options - real, digital, ai, and cool?

So like, if a pattern is not just a blatant conversion from some picture, but it's digitally rendered and not stitched, does it go into real or still into digital?

Also where does "it looks like a badly crunched jpeg" go?

Anything that's not physical real-life stitches would go as 'digital preview' -- whether that's a converted painting, or a digital mockup from a pattern program, or the world's crunchiest jpeg. I could probably have named them better-- the distinction being looked for is 'stitched irl' vs 'not that'.

The 'interesting' toggle isn't for the data project per se-- it's just for fun, so if people see a cool pattern they can flag it, and later I'll go through and share a bunch of em here. :) So the four serious categories are 'Stitched, Not AI', 'Not Stitched, Not AI', 'Stitched, AI', and 'Not Stitched, AI'.

Thanks for the assist! Lemme know if the explanation has any holes in it-- I've been putzing with this dataset all day, so my brain's a bit fried.
