It's really, really simple: Gun control would be used to further attack BIPOC communities the same as every prohibition has been. It would not disarm pigs, who are the biggest single contributor of gun violence. As repeatedly practiced, from the time of Reagan passing gun control in California to disarm the BPP, it would not disarm rich fascists, or cops, and factually would not be equally enforced because it's the same white supremacist cops enforcing it as every other law. Until liberals recognize this and decide to tackle the actual problem - that is to say, murderous fascists - no, no one should support gun control legislation.
