The SKULD subsystem of the NORN world computer attempts to pass a query to URD through the VERDANDI interface asking what fate should befall Nominative Determinism. URD returns that Nominative Determinism’s fate should be nominatively determined and asks for the name again, resulting in an infinite loop between URD, VERDANDI and SKULD. Time stops.
