started a replay of pokemon y and. i dont think i ever knew you could hop onto the family rhyhorn right at the beginning of the game... too bad its also a glorified cutscene orz
i also forgot that they skip the normal theatrics of getting your first pokemon almost entirely whadda heck.. i got my starter way quicker than i expected.. (tho it also meant i didnt save so no shiny resetting for me) (this is probably ideal)
