The internet is fundamentally just an idea, a set of protocols, implemented in the form of a billion computers. It's just as much ours as it is theirs.

fond memories of when the only crashes i got back in the superior chat client, mirc, were when i was running a version vulnerable to a ctcp crash exploit

@fwankie

I've had it crash because a game crashed. wasn't streaming and didn't have the overlay enabled or anything, it just crashed out of sympathy or something

if something else runs out of memory, discord crashes with it! very fun!

@xkeeper

poor discord, thought of another app and died

VeraLycaon
@VeraLycaon

discord is truly a workhorse among desktop applications in that pretty much anything will make it run off a cliff and die horrendously

gull
@gull

sometimes discord just decides to shit itself and close-and-reopen for NO reason! literally nothing else happens. streaming can be in the middle of running just fine, everything's going a-ok in every single window i have open and discord will just throw its hands up in the air, declare 'no thank you' and die

I'm only trapped there because people like you refuse to try alternatives. I only suggested Guilded as a POSSIBLE alternative, but your overly narrow viewpoint has blinded you to the fact that there will always and forever be options. I'm honestly impressed you're even here simply because this is the exact mindset that keeps twitter going after every continuous fuck up. You made X a household name in this same manner.
