I'm sorry you had to deal with this man. If I may ask, Are you all going to be okay? This is a hard situation so I guess what I'm attempting to ask is like, Have you been contacted by other reps in the industry? Will y'all re enter employment soon?

Thankfully a lot of things are happening. A lot of game studios are coming to Champaign to host job fairs, lots of people are being contacted by recruiters, etc. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I think things are going to be okay? The "benefit" of a game studio shutting down is that it grabs a lot of attention, and there is always a need for more staff at other places, especially senior roles. So recruiters are happy to try to snap up as many people as possible because they already have a proven track record of working in the industry.

(A lot of people will probably think "oh but working on a games that reviewed bad makes you less desirable as a potential hire", but that's not really true. Even working on a poorly received game still shows that you're able to work through the process of game dev. The vast majority of people working on a game that ends up being bad didn't do anything wrong. Bad games come about from a huge combination of different factors.)
