finally allowing myself - well, more like forcing myself - to genuinely question if we're plural and what that looks like.

The Shared Radio-Wave Thought-space

Multiple broadcasts can be going into the same thought-space (all-audio because aphantasia). Usually only one can be Experienced, but i'm certain they all continue, even when not being Experienced.

Last Minute Decisions

There are things i want to do, have made plans to do, have prepared to do, that i don't do, and only make the decision not to do at the last possible moment. Theory: one Self (more closely tied to Experiencing) wants to do the thing, but another Self (more closely tied to Doing) doesn't.

Random Dissociation

Can't tell if this is ADHD-esque something or Selves coming and going. To look into: is hyperfocus a specific form of this? e.g. there seem to be fewer Selves while rowing.
Also to look into: Is this a cause of executive dysfunction?

Unknown Shakes and Crying

For consideration: Is the weird shaking or unprompted crying an effect of a Self fronting, by force or otherwise?

It Just Feels Right

It doesn't feel wrong to consider myself as multiple, and it feels better than considering myself as one. That might be the 'tism. i already hold a distinction between my "brain," my "body," and my "mind," which i (and others) have attributed to that in the past. It could also be comorbid.

Third Person Daydreaming

It's very hard to imagine myself in the first person. This could be related to the aforementioned aphantasia, but usually i can still give myself the Vibe of a situation without seeing it.

Terminally Capricious Interests haha homestuck reference go brrrr

i'll play a game a lot for like a month or two before stopping, only to come back waaayyy later. Same for other hobbies (see the above small low-contrast text for an example). Hypothesis: this is different Selves cycling in control of the body.

Multiple Narrators

The internal monologue (dialogue? polylogue? see the first heading) is usually in one voice. When reading things, it's very natural to use other voices, particularly for multiple characters. i'd wager this isn't a sign of plurality, but i'm writing it down just to be safe. Addendum: i read conversations i write with myself in a slightly different voice, too.

Polyamory

It's a very natural idea to me to have multiple partners to fulfill multiple facets of my needs. Theory: "multiple facets of my needs" actually means "the needs of multiple Selves."

Steven Universe

i watched Steven Universe twice, and generally relate to the fusions within quite well. my favorite song from the series is Mindful Education which relates to one character (made of two) learning to be at peace with themselves.

that like, my friend's plurality just Made Sense to me, and I really didn't understand why interactions I'd describe to singlet friends didn't make sense to them. it was actually extremely difficult to understand that other ppl don't Get It as well as I do for some unknown reason lol
