finally allowing myself - well, more like forcing myself - to genuinely question if we're plural and what that looks like.
Morgan: he/him
Pollux: he/xe
Harper fae/faer
We feel like probably the most damning evidence we have was many many years ago, when we were a kid. We wrote a lot, but took particular interest in one specific character who was a sort of OC companion. We'd imagine a lot about this character popping into "the real world" and being friends with him and going on adventures and stuff. Then, one day, I don't even remember what caused it, but he started to speak back in a way that was very very different from the way we'd normally have (pretend? Who even knows anymore) conversations with him.
I freaked out and I think suppressed him or otherwise shut him down/out, because suddenly it was real and scary. I was afraid if I kept writing about or thinking of him, he'd somehow take over my body or something. And, yknow, kid. Christian homeschooled. I don't even have to elaborate more then that IYKYK.
Just now also adding that I was super obsessed with the idea of talking to someone telepathically and sharing dreams and Things Such As which. Well. They've taken on a new context now.
